About Terbium

Terbium is a heavy rare earth element used alongside dysprosium to enhance the high-temperature performance of neodymium permanent magnets. It produces the brightest known green phosphor and is used in Terfenol-D, a magnetostrictive alloy for sonar systems and precision actuators. Terbium is among the most supply-critical rare earths due to very limited production outside China and Myanmar.
