About Praseodymium

Praseodymium is a light rare earth element commonly alloyed with neodymium to produce the didymium used in high-performance permanent magnets. It imparts a distinctive green color to glass and ceramics and is used in specialized optical filters for welding goggles. Praseodymium supply is closely linked to neodymium production, as they are co-extracted and often sold as a combined NdPr oxide.
